There are a great many products on the market that are designed to help you lose weight. Some of these products can have adverse health effects such as the varied stimulants sold at various levels of potency. However, there are other “products” out there that can deliver excellent results for those looking to lose weight by drinking water. For example, one of the most helpful products that can be used for weight loss performance is…water. Yes, you read that correctly. Something as benignly simple as bottled water can deliver excellent results.

For those not completely familiar with how water greatly enhances weight loss, the answer lies in the impact water has on the kidneys and the liver. When the body is not properly hydrated, the kidneys are not able to perform at maximum efficiency. That means they will need help from the liver. But, because the liver has been deputized to help out the kidneys, the liver will not be able to perform all of its functions adequately. One area where the liver will underperform will be in areas related to the metabolism. And, of course, it is the metabolism that we rely upon to burn off excess amount of fat.

Conversely, when you start to properly hydrate your kidneys will be able to perform at their maximum efficiency. The liver is then relieved of its responsibilities to help out the kidneys. As a result, the liver will be once again engaged to help the body’s metabolic function. That means the body will be burning up more calories which, in turn, helps burn off stored fat.

How much water is needed to deliver this help? 8 glasses of water throughout the day will deliver great results since this is more than enough to properly hydrate the human body. However, it is important to note that water is not a thermogenic wonder formula. Increasing water intake alone will not get you in shape but it will definitely help.

As much as we love to sit in front of the couch and watch football during the season, this is not the healthiest plan of action to take. When you are inactive, you do not burn very many calories. This can lead to packing on a great deal of excess weight. Does this mean that you should avoid watching football this season? Oh, no way! That would be a punitive action that most football fans could never endure! Thankfully, they do not have to. There are a number of simple and basic steps that can help make sure you stay in shape during the football season.

Vikings Allens Pressure Football

Tip 1: Probably the wisest move you can make during football weekends is to avoid the using Saturday and Sunday football as an excuse to eat or drink whatever you want. Potato chips, pizzas, sodas, and cans of beer will all pack on A LOT of fat. These are high calorie junk food items loaded with sugar and empty calories. No, this does not mean you cannot have a little junk food here and there. However, it is certainly advisable to avoid such dietary choices every weekend during the season. Those that do this will surely pack on a lot of weight whether you want to or not.

Tip 2: Workout while you watch the television. Some may wonder how this is possible. Well, it is pretty simple. You can just park your exercise bike in front of the television and ride the bike while watching television. Some may think this is a simplistic approach but Bruce Lee was famous for doing things like this and it helped him developed a ripped physique many years ahead of its time.

Tip 3: Don’t miss any workout sessions Monday through Friday. One thing people do not realize is that when you workout, your metabolism will increase. So, you will burn fat during your “off days” as this time will be used to repair and develop lean muscle mass. Those that lift weights, jog, or take part in aerobics during the weekdays can take time off on the weekends without much penalty. However, it is important to never miss those weekday workout sessions or else your weekend leisure sessions will prove self-defeating.

Is it tough to stay in shape during football season? No, not at all as only a few simple steps will prevent such a problem from occurring.
